The weekend is here! If you’re one of us, you like to stay back and binge watch stuff online rather than going out. More often than we’d like to admit, we’ve spent countless hours scrolling through movies and series rather than picking something and watching it. So from today, we’ll give you a list of suggestions to check out every weekend! So, cutting right to the chase, here we give you a list of what to watch this weekend:
A fresh take on spider man after using Peter parker for quite some time this movie introduces Afro-Latino teen, Miles Morales. With crisp animation, strong story and amazing soundtracks, this journey of Miles from his emotional turmoil after suddenly developing superpowers to battling with the evil Kingpin makes it by far the best Spider-Man movie.
Manmarziyaan stars Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, and Abhishek Bachchan. Free-spirited Rumi and a neighbourhood guy, Vicky is madly in love but Vicky is not ready to deal with the realities of life and is too careless to think about the future. This leaves Rumi no choice but to marry Robbie. The tale of an interesting love triangle discovers dark shades of love, hatred and agony. Music by Amit Trivedi is one of the great elements of the movie.
If you’re looking for something thrilling, this psychological thriller starring Taapsee Pannu will be a great fit for you. Game Over is a story about a game designer going through post-traumatic stress induced by an incident and how she becomes caged in the fear of some evil force or maybe just a mysterious intruder.
An American comedy-drama featuring Aziz Ansari as confused New Yorker, who finds himself juggling between different decisions about life, his acting career and relationships. This half-hour series full of humour and heart is something which we millennials can very much relate to.
Joe Goldberg, intimidating and smart book store manager, gets attracted to an aspiring writer Beck. You’ll find him doing everything we can’t even think of to become a special part of Beck’s life and getting her to love him. The amazing storyline takes you in the mind of Joe leaving you questioning yourself if he’s a psychopath, a stalker or just a regular guy in love and what limits one can cross in the name of love.
Starring Sumeet Vyas and Kalki Koechlin, Ribbon is the story of an unplanned pregnancy leaving a young couple face many challenges while bringing up the child. It addresses many loose ends of a relationship and depicts how the life we chase usually happens in between.
