Marvel’s Iron Fist Season 2 now streaming on Netflix

Marvel's Iron Fist season 2 poster

Not long ago Netflix announced the premiere date for Iron Fist season 2 and the day is finally here!

[Spoiler Ahead: If you have not watched Iron Fist season 1, The Defenders and Luke Cage season 2]

Since then, we have seen quite a few action clips and an extended trailer. Marvel’s Iron Fist season 2 picks up after The Defenders, Jessica Jones season 2 and Luke Cage season 2. Danny Rand even makes an appearance in Luke Cage season 2. After the supposed death of Matt Murdock (Daredevil) at the end of The Defenders, Danny was shown to take the responsibility of keeping New York safe.

Other than Danny Rand (played by Finn Jones), the trailer of Iron Fist season 2 features one of the antagonists, Steel Serpent who turns out to be none other than Danny’s best friend, Davos (played by Sacha Dhawan). His desire to wield the Iron Fist leads him to a dark path and now he’s back for revenge. A new character, Typhoid Mary (played by Alice Eve) has been introduced to the show, which is a prominent antagonist this season. The other characters include Collen Wing (played by Jessica Henwick), Misty Knight (played by Simone Missick), and more.

Judging from the trailers and action clips, the show looks to be a major upgrade from season 1. Critics reviews for the new season are only adding to that, making it even more exciting to binge watch it.
