After collaborating with Irrfan Khan twice in YouTube sketches, AIB (All India Bakchod) is all set to team up with him again to deliver their first ever fiction show, “The Ministry“. Irrfan Khan has worked in various formats of visual entertainment and now he’s excited to make his mark on digital space with this Amazon Prime exclusive.

The genre of political satire is something which hasn’t been much worked upon in the Indian cinema for a long time. Here AIB, being famous for experimenting with new concepts, grabbed the opportunity and made everyone’s eyes pop out.
“The Ministry” is a political satire and a humorous take on politics. It was announced at the time of Amazon Prime Video’s India launch a year back. It is written by AIB co-founder Gursimran Khamba and first draft writers Gaurav Mishra and Dhruv Narang.
Irrfan will be playing the role of a washed-up narcissistic Bollywood actor who suddenly finds himself appointed as the Union Minister of Culture. The story then will revolve around how he ends up winning the hearts of the mass.
