The wait is finally over! Episode 1 and 2 from TVF‘s latest web series, Yeh Meri Family are out now on TVF Play. After winning millions of hearts with remarkable web series like Permanent Roommates and Tripling, TVF is now taking us on a journey to childhood in the 90s.
Yeh Meri Family tells the story of Harshu, the 12-year-old hero of the show, and his family. It is situated in the summer of ’98. All Harshu wants is all any 12-year-old does, to play and have fun with his best friend Shanky during the summer vacations, but mom has different plans for him.
The show is developed and directed by Sameer Saxena who directed Permanent Roommates. and also frequently appears in TVF shows/videos. The role of the father is played by Akarsh Khurana, who is a noted actor and writer, known for Tripling, Krrish and Kites. The amazing Mona Singh plays the strict yet loving mother. The dynamics of the Gupta family in the show is highly relatable to every 90s kid.
