Ahead of the movie’s 1st December release, the very first song from Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s historical epic, Padmavati has been released today. In native Rajasthani style music, ‘Ghoomar‘ features Shreya Ghoshal and Swaroop Khan on vocals. Deepika Padukone is seen performing Rajasthani folk dance style ‘Ghoomar’ in the official video.
While the music comes from Sanjay Leela Bhansali himself, ‘Ghoomar’ features lyrics by A M Turaz and Rajasthani lyrics by Swaroop Khan. The charm of Deepika (who is playing Queen Padmavati) in the song video is awe-inspiring.
Slated to release on December 1, the official trailer of Padmavati showed some epic scenes from the movie. Ranveer Singh’s portrayal of Alauddin Khilji, in particular, has been breathtaking.
